NO.14 FORD (GB) ZODIAC MK.III ESTATE
Impy Version (1966-1968) / Flyers Version (1969-76)
No.14 in the Impy range was based on the Ford Zodiac Mk.3 Estate. This was the only model of an estate car in the Impy and Flyers ranges. Early models were dark blue followed by a brighter turquoise shade. The Impy casting was altered so twin jewelled headlights could be added as a separate part rather than fitted to the car individually. Presumably this was to speed up production and reduce costs. This feature, like several others was deleted when the Zodiac became part of the hi-speed Flyers range.
