NO.22 ROLLS ROYCE SILVER CLOUD III

Impy Version (1967-1968) / Flyers Version (1969-76)

No.22 saw Lone Star introduce the iconic Rolls-Royce name to the Impy line-up. The attractive model was based on a Silver Cloud III with coachwork by Mulliner Park Ward. Earlier Sliver Cloud MkII and MkIII models had featured in Lone Star’s Roadmaster series of 1:50 scale cars. The new Impy model was based on the drophead coupe and had all the usual operating features including an opening centre hinged bonnet.

Impy models were finished in either silver or mauve whilst the Flyers version is usually found in a metallic dark red. Some very early Flyers models featured racing stripes on the bonnet and boot but today these are very hard to find.
