NO.33 MOBILE CRANE

Impy (1968-1971) / Commercials (1972-76)

No.33 is a neat model of an American BLH Austin-Western mobile crane. The model itself featured a rotating jib which could also be raised and lowered. The wheels came from the Impy No25 tractor and suit the model well. Like the tractor the Impy mobile crane became part of the Commercials range from 1972 but did not receive new hi-speed wheels. Thus Impy models are identical to Commercials models other than the introduction of some new colour schemes.

The mobile crane featured in the ‘Silver Commercials’ range issued around 1972. Only the body was chrome plated with the jib being finished in dark green. The model was discontinued with the rest of the Commercials range in 1976.

Lone Star's version is an accurate model of the real thing.
