Flyers (1970-1976)
No.38 is a model of the third generation of Chevrolet’s legendary Corvette. There was of course already a model of the gen. 2 Corvette in the Flyers range as No.11 although this only ever carried the ambiguous model name of ‘Gran Turismo’. No.38 must have been on the drawing board sometime before its launch in 1971 as it was the model used for much of the Flyers publicity material as well as featuring on the Flyers carded packaging and on the boxes for the Flyway track.
